There is an optional harness hole in the pattern, so you can style the sweater on top of your dog’s harness. Increases along the back create a biased shape and short rows help lengthen the back of the sweater, resulting in a sweater that is equal parts cute and functional. The smaller sizes are designed for petite pups like Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, and little Terriers and the sizes increase to fit breeds ranging from French Bulldogs and Dachsunds to Boxers, Labradors, and Great Danes. If your dog’s Girth\/chest circumference measures more than 44″ \/ 112cm, then this pattern is easy to customize by adding more increase rounds for a larger size.
