Due to the fluffy voluminous nature of the soft merino, it feels like a heavy fingering\/sport weight yarn even though it has 400yds \/ 366m per 100g. The stitches bloom and fill space more than slick superwash yarns resulting in a more cohesive and “woolly” fabric.
