Chameleonic Scarflet

Chameleonic Scarflet

The Chameleonic Scarflet is a matchy-matchy companion to the Chameleonic Socks from this year’s Surprise Sock Along! Knit them in coordinating shades for a playful, color-shifting set!

Collect one solid color of fingering weight yarn (color A) and one self-striping yarn like Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Crazy (color B) to knit this sideways triangle shawl. Begin with an I-cord cast on that frames both edges of the fabric as you knit sideways. Increases gradually shape the right edge toward the center. Save 50% or more of your yarn for the decrease half of the shawl. This construction method allows you to easily customize the size. Two-row stripes and slip stitches form the beautiful geometric pattern with twisting cables flowing along the striped background. Once you finish the little scarflet, knit the Chameleonic Socks for a matchy matchy ensemble!
